Parking

Parking in front of the building is reserved for Boston Showcase only. Public parking is available directly behind the building along the field, accessible either from Dedham Street or the driveway at the end of the Sunoco/Village Bank strip mall. Please do not park in the garage for the mall or neighboring lots. Refer to the Parking Map below which shows the areas you may park. Dashboard signs are available to our students for certain areas of parking. There is a blue awning for 66 Winchester and elevators for the 3rd floor. There’s an additional doorway to the left (at the corner of the building) if you prefer to take the stairs.

Directions

By Car

The Academy is at 66 Winchester Street, above Boston Showcase, and next to the Sunoco gas station/Village Bank strip mall. However, the entrance to the parking lot behind the building is off Dedham Street (use 12 Dedham St on your GPS).

From the East, take Route 9W to Centre St/Needham exit. Then go left onto Centre St which immediately becomes Winchester Street. You may cut through the Sunoco/Village Bank parking lot. 

From the West, take Route 9E past the CVS at the intersection of Elliot Street. Instead of taking the hairpin right turn onto Boylston Street, take the very next right turn onto Walnut Street. At the stop sign, take a right on Dedham Street and follow all the way up to the parking lot entrance just before the set of lights. 

From points North and South, take Route 95/128 to exit 19A - Highland Ave/Newton Highlands and follow Highland Ave as it becomes Needham Street. Follow to the end of Needham Street, passing by National Lumber on the left, and either bear left onto Winchester Street at the set of lights or go straight and take a left right after the lights into the parking lot entrance.

Take the MBTA Riverside (D) green line to Newton Highlands. Take a left on Walnut street. At the intersection, take a right onto Centre Street which becomes Winchester Street after the Route 9 overpass. The Academy is on the left side at 66 Winchester Street. Our location is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Newton Highlands T station.
